First off, my friends Abi and Martin Sutherland from Sunpig are again proud parents! All the wonderful details of what is sure to be a great new life can be found here. As if that weren’t reason enough to celebrate, my surgeon told me today that I will live!

Well, in about another twelve hours, I’ll be lying on an operating table. Hopefully, the surgeons will be removing any remnants of melanoma remaining in me.

I guess I’m more into personal blog entries for the moment. (I know me. That will change.) Well, I sorta know me. 😉 I have a belief about how minds come to be and how persons construct themselves such that I like taking tests to find out more about me. Humans are very complex critters. […]

Well, I was thinking I’d finally found a fellow sufferer who could explain a few things to me… This is only the beginning of the fun, folks. It’s only Wednesday! Before the week is over, I will feel guilty about nothing, I will panic about nothing (and likely make myself sick over it) and I’ll […]

Busy, Busy

Seems like there’s soooooo much to do lately. Here I am on winter “break” from law school, but I feel like I’ve even less time to get things done now than I did when I had classes every night! Before school does restart, though, I want to figure out a way to restructure my blog […]

The Sting: Reprise
December 21st, 2003 · 1 Comment
Thanks to Mark King, who was instrumental in getting me to take the part of Scoopy the Bee recently (see previous post “The Sting“), I have new photographs of my night with the kids. I’ve added them to the album titled “The Bee All & The End All“) in my Gallery. I also neglected to […]

I had the privilege tonight of playing the part of Scoopy the Bee for a group of children. It was truly a terrific time and I was glad to be a part of it. I don’t want to give out a lot of detail here, because I admit that I don’t fully understand “the rules.”
Suffice it to say that it was a Christmas event for children who are going through some terribly tough times. They and their mothers are being protected from abusive spouses; they’re essentially in hiding.

Scary Halloween

Well, here it is, one of our favorite times of year — a time when we really get unspun! We love to get dressed up this time of year and usually go “all out” to plan, develop, create and build some decent costumes. For a look at some of those costumes click the link below […]

I’ve been rather deliberately quiet of late while I reassess priorities. As I noted in other posts — and I’m too tired to hunt them down and link them right now, but if you’re interested a perusal of my site will probably turn them up — I work a full-time non-legal job (Director of Information […]

Meyers-Briggs Picard

One of the few blogs I read regularly is Martin Sutherland’s “SunPig” (Martin: where did you get that name?). Today, he had a posting on Personality Tests which lead me to these results after taking a Meyers-Briggs test online: ENTP – “Inventor”. Enthusiastic interest in everything and always sensitive to possibilities. Non-conformist and innovative. 5% […]
