Gearing Up for the Next World War?

Looks like at least one other country is thinking it’s time to re-start the Arms Race…for defensive purposes, only, of course. Like the United States, they have “no imperial ambitions or hegemonist strivings.” And,

[r]eferring to Washington’s assurances that its prospective missile defense wasn’t aimed against Russia, Putin said that “just like that, the development of our new weapons systems wasn’t directed against the United States.”

That’s why CBS titled the story, “Mother Russia rattles her saber.”

As I see it, the next world war axis will be the Shanghai Cooperation Org (SCO) plus perhaps a few other countries.

The allies are likely to be the US, UK and Japan.

The key will be what happens with India. If India opts for neutrality (and conveniently so, for the SCO) then in all liklihood, the SCO will conquer the world. If India joins the allies, then the allies would have a fighting chance.
