When Someone Calls You a Duck

Posted by Rick · July 3rd, 2006 · No Comments

When I was a kid, my dad was fond of saying things like this:

If someone calls you a duck and you know you’re not a duck, you can ignore them. If a second person calls you a duck, you can probably ignore them, too. About the third time someone calls you a duck, you might want to start checking for feathers.

When the best friends the United States has in the entire world start saying that they’re tired of our cruel, vulgar ways and two-thirds of them say we’re “essentially an imperial power seeking world domination” and untrustworthy, we might want to stop for a bit and think about what’s happening.

It might be time to consider a change.
