CBS News says that gasoline this summer is expected to average $2.28 cents per gallon this summer.
My wife and I pray that it goes that low. As I write this, the lowest price in Fresno in the last 72 hours has been $2.39 per gallon at Family Express on Butler & Cedar. The high cost is listed as $2.75 per gallon at the Shell in Tollhouse.
Tollhouse is right down the street from us. Other service stations I’ve seen while driving around here myself are running around $2.69 per gallon.
Thank you, Mr. President. Oh, and your oil buddies, too. I can hardly wait to sell one of them my kidneys in exchange for a tank of gas.

I’m with you on this one. Down in San Diego, regular unleaded is averaging 2.57 with super averaging 2.79. Does anyone else remember how shocking it was when gas finally rose over $1/gal.? Oh for those days again!

One-dollar per gallon….
Yes, I remember. I also remember when I could fill the gas tank on the motorcycle I drove for 10 years for about a dollar. The other day, I filled my scooter at a cost of about $7. Fortunately, that will last about 3-5 days and sometimes longer, depending on what I have to get done that week.
My car? I just gased up my Saturn for $30 about 20 minutes ago.
