Mark Perry says that consumers are the kings and queens of the economy. Therefore, corporations are incorrectly labeled as “greedy” when, in fact, it is the consumers who are greedy because they won’t willingly part with larger percentages of their meager take-home pay.
This article explores the logic of that premise. I expose the faultiness of this view by a discussion of the differences between CORPORATE choices and CONSUMER choices and the information available to consumers when they make the choices that they ARE responsible for making.
