Surprise…Not

I cannot tell a lie, this isn’t that much of a surprise.

Your Political Profile

Overall: 15% Conservative, 85% Liberal
Social Issues: 25% Conservative, 75% Liberal
Personal Responsibility: 0% Conservative, 100% Liberal
Fiscal Issues: 25% Conservative, 75% Liberal
Ethics: 0% Conservative, 100% Liberal
Defense and Crime: 25% Conservative, 75% Liberal
How Liberal / Conservative Are You?

Actually, that’s not entirely true. I am surprised over the personal responsibility revelation — and I don’t believe it. I’m curious, but probably will never know, how that was derived. Was it because I answered “true” to the question that some people have less luck than others? That seems to me unassailable. While people have a large share in determining their own destiny, if the question is “True or False: Some people have less luck than others” the fact is that the answer to that question is undeniably true. I mean, let’s get real. What’s the antonymous position? Seems to me it could only be “everyone has exactly the same amount of luck” and that’s just patently absurd by definition.

Oh well…no one ever said the quiz was scientific. To the extent that any of these quizzes ever hits the nail on the head, it’s pure luck. 😉

Hey Rick, never would have thought you go for such stuff like this? I’m not really surprised that you’re more liberal than conservative. I’ll have to check this myself and see what those ethics-related questions were, hmmm.

    Rick:

I’m disappointed that you would show up as even 25% conservative on the fiscal issues. Despite their hypocritical blatherings, both history and current events clearly show that the conservative fiscal agenda means sky-high government deficits that result in interest payments to (guess who) conservatives and regressive tax schemes designed to take money from poor people and give it to rich people. If any supposed survey were to impute that I was even 1% in favor of such immoral policies, I would be horrified.
