“They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” — Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania.

“The federal government is looking into putting video cameras on commercial flights so people on the ground could monitor pilots and passengers and get an early warning of hijackings or other trouble on board.” — from “FAA testing cameras on planes,” CNN.com, October 4, 2003.

“For all its power and influence peddling, Washington is still a city of ideas, and Bush’s biggest idea?that in a post-9/11 world, intelligence, even uncertain intelligence, could be used to justify a pre-emptive war?is one that many consider Bush’s real faith-based initiative.”

An excellent article from Time regarding who leaked the name of the CIA operative and why. It begs many disturbing questions to be asked.

It would be upsetting to think that this White House actually considers professional intelligence to be ‘biased’ when it does not agree with the agenda.

If this is the case, then we do have a cowboy in office versus a President. Yes, 9/11 has changed the rules, but not the team.

Wesley Clark is looking more intruiging by the day. This administration is in deep trouble if, in fact, it’s unpatriotic to agree with fact.
