Google AdSense Update

Posted by Rick · December 30th, 2004 · No Comments

So far, I’m totally swamped with this blankety-blank criminal appeal that I’m really sick-to-death of working on. I’d like to move on to some other topics.

Anyway, it’s impacting my ability to blog this week. Next week, things should be back to normal. And January, in general, should be fun because I’ll be “guest blogging” on a couple of other blogs.

As noted yesterday, I’ve implemented Google AdSense on this website to try to generate some income to help defray the cost. (The site costs me about $85-$90 per month to maintain — and I’m unemployed.)

I’d be interested to know what readers think about it. You can either comment here or email me — just send your note to webmaster over at unspun.us — and tell me whether you find the ads useful, a pain, irrelevant, or whatever.

Myself, I’m getting a little ticked-off that most of the ads are favoring one particular political party. I won’t say which party, because that seems to trigger more of their ads, but it ain’t Democrats and it ain’t Greens and it ain’t any of those others.

Given the slant of this website, I find it hard to believe that this is going to get many clicks from my readers.
