Hmmm…George Bush wired? I’m not sure I’m buying it.
I mean seriously. Are we really supposed to believe that this Administration — or any group of Republicans for that matter — would do something like put a large rectangular receiver into the President’s suit just so he could be prompted with information during a debate? Are we supposed to believe that those wide-open stares during the second debate where Bush appeared to be “absent” were because he was listening to someone? I mean, is Bush really capable of listening?
It’s impossible for me to believe that a group that does such slick advertising campaigns as “Vote Liberal and They Will Ban the Bible!” or who can float a “documentary” called “Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal” on prime-time while simultaneously ensuring that prime-time shows which make Bush look bad never see . . . well, prime time.
These folks would never stoop to wiring Bush just so he could occasionally appear intelligent.
Besides, they’re counting on you to vote for Bush even if he doesn’t have the answers.
Can you say “hypocritical b*llsh*t”?

John II, the VP for the candidate, had made an appearance on the Leno show, last night. I caught just the end of it, right about where Leno brought up the appearance of such-and-such under Bush’s suit coat. John II suggested it was “his battery”, then left it at a joke. After the photo they showed, I’d assumed that it may’ve been just a battery and transmitter unit, for a portable microphone being worn by Bush — concealed on his back, so that it shouldn’t have been visible to the viewing public.
Granted, this is no less of a guess than anyoyne else’s.

I have used portable wireless microphone units. The transmitter on those devices is not much larger than a pager and is worn on the belt.
