I never cease to be amazed at jew-baiters. I suppose I should stop being surprised. And if they weren’t so doggone dangerous, I’d just ignore them. After all, even asking questions and voicing concerns is often enough to set off a new round of antisemitism.

On the other hand, after reading one of Vachon’s articles on Counterpunch, it appears he may just have taken one-too-many bad acid trips.

Two Horrid Bills

Some time back, I complained about Molly Ivins’ writing. One of the things I took her to task for was that her articles were written in such a way that only good liberals would read them; others would be too put-off by the constant barrage of insults and digs.

This particular article of hers is more palatable in that regard and is chock-full of facts that everyone should know.

It Takes A…

Nope, not a Village. It takes a little girl.

My first thought when I decided to write this morning was “Some people are going to read your post as a case of sour grapes because a little girl made the front page of the Fresno Bee and you didn’t.”

If it takes a little girl to wake a village, then so be it. All I really care about is that the Chaffee Zoological Gardens gets the funding that it needs.
